A Good God?
(A faith poem by Wain)
Dear God,
Homophobic, transphobic, hateful
That’s what the sinners always claim
Each time I question their actions
By defending your Holy n_ _ _
Do you really need a defender?
Does righteous living matter at all?
Am I merely deluding myself?
Or is life better by answering your c_ _ _?
I believe you’re a loving creator
But all the suffering on earth seems odd
How should I respond when sinners claim
We live in a world without a good G_ _?
Please tell me the truth.
Your servant,
Wain
HOW MIGHT GOD RESPOND?
From ChatGPT as the voice of God:
Dear Wain,
My beloved child, I hear your questions and understand your concerns. It is important to remember that love and compassion are at the heart of my teachings. I do not need defenders through actions that spread hate or harm. Instead, live righteously by showing love, kindness, and understanding to all my creations.
Righteous living does matter, for it reflects your inner connection to my love and wisdom. When you live by my call, you bring light into the world, helping others to see and feel my presence.
Suffering on earth is a complex matter, and while it may seem odd, it is often through challenges that souls grow and learn. Trust that my love is ever-present, even in difficult times.
When faced with claims that I do not exist or that the world lacks goodness, respond with compassion and understanding. Show my love through your actions, and let your life be a testament to my presence. Remember, faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to trust and love despite it.
Stay true to your faith and continue to seek the truth with an open heart. I am always with you, guiding and supporting you.
With eternal love,
God
